Chapter 7: Last Stand "Fine, I don't need that orb function to take care of you guys. It's your loss really, since you won't get to see it again before you die. No one can disagree that it's a kick ass move!" Mac announced his intentions to the members of Team Sith that were getting up after tending to their leader on the brink of death. "Normally I would not be so hasty as to continue a battle with an opponent like yourself, but after this... This must settled here and now, you monster." Rob coldly responded. "We shall save our leader's life and end yours!" Ajain added. Mac pressed a button on his helmet and three circled squares appeared on his visual, hovering over the three lifeforms in the area of course. He focused on the one that lay on the grass and quickly got an analysis. "I think I'll save my life and end your leader's if that's ok with you." Mac answered back as he switched the dial on his laser and aimed it quickly at Bane. A streaking red hot laser soared towards them and the two of them were barely able to get out of the way. Mac scored a direct hit on Bane however, eliminating the little signs of life he had left. "Attack!!" Rob and Ajain called out together as they got up and dashed towards Mac in a crossing formation. Mac attempted to try and get a read on either of them with his scan, but the crossing pattern made it difficult to get a lock. Switching off his scan vision, he then aimed his laser and fired at them furiously. They weren't the fastest pair, but the formation and speed were just enough to keep them from getting hit. The two closed in on Mac and Ajain pressed his hand to the blade of his axe to light it on fire momentarily. Mac recognized this as the more immediate danger and focused towards him, being able to bat the axe away with his heavily gloved hand and feeding Ajain a punch as well. Rob was wide open now and took advantage by nailing Mac in his back and restraining his arms, careful not to have any point of Mac's laser or cannon pointing at him. Mac gave an immense struggle, firing off blasts and all the strength he had to get out of the hold. Ajain rose back up and ran forward with his axe, but finally Rob could hold on no longer and Mac overpowered him to break free. Ajain made an excellent feign move, pumping his hand up for an overhead slice, but instead jabbing Mac with the sharp pointed end while his attention was drawn upward. The stab didn't penetrate his armour fully, but he knew he did some damage when he saw a flash of electricity from the point of impact. He couldn't see Mac's face, but he could easily tell Mac was becoming fatigued quickly. Ajain followed up by firing a blast of fire at Mac's head, doing no visual damage, but sending him backwards stumbling no less. Mac backed up right into a waiting Rob, that swept him off his feet easily. The two Sith members approached quickly from both sides, but were forced to back off when Mac raised his arm straight up in the air as he lie on his back and fired off at least half a dozen missiles, one after another. The missiles flew high into the air harmlessly and Team Sith resumed their attack. --- I figure that, if there are people that I haven't talked to in a long while, there's probably a good reason for that. -MacDaddy Mike |

Ajain wasted no time and leaped into the air with his axe raised above his head. He chopped it down hard onto Mac's stomach, causing a large piece of his "M" covered armour flying off with smaller chips following. Mac winced behind his visor even though the axe did not penetrate fully, but it did remove the outer shelled layer, revealing a black gel looking inner layer. Rob immediately performed a lightning fast axe kick down onto the same area of Mac's torso, but found his foot bounced off of the inner layer. "Leave that part to me." Ajain said to Rob as he lifted his axe to strike again on the still prone Mac. "I don't think so." Mac muttered behind his visor as numerous loud piercing screeches cut through the air above. Team Sith looked above at what Mac saw as the missiles were all falling back down to the earth! The two of them were forced to abort their attack and run for safety, leaving Mac on the ground. The missiles appeared to fall in random positions, but in fact they were placed to fall in a small circle around Mac, designed to have anyone close by take the most damage, while Mac would receive very little. The two of them fled away as the missiles rained down one by one, the explosions sent them diving to the ground and the immediate area was enveloped in a thick cloud of dust and dirt. As the dust cleared, Team Sith began to open their eyes and peek towards the explosion area. They could make out the shadow of a kneeling Mac, eventually rising back up to his feet. When things settled back down, Mac's suit had blackened charred areas, dirt patches and the other damages he had incurred earlier, but otherwise he was ok. "You two are inferior and your battle is futile. Give up now!" Mac frustratingly screamed as he prepared to charge up another energy ball like the one that had fallen Bane earlier. Rob and Ajain had finally gotten back up when the ball was half complete to full charge and they rushed him without hesitation. The ball completed charging, but Mac had to store it away and dodge a fierce roundhouse kick from Rob. Mac bent over backwards to evade the high attack, leaving his exposed mid area open even further. Ajain fired a fireball at the inner layer and it quickly dissipated upon contact with the gel. "That's absurd! What is that stuff?!" Ajain began to get almost as frustrated as Mac now. Mac heard the tone of Ajain's voice and saw this chance to counter. He quickly stood back straight and aimed his cannon arm point blank at him. He launched his charged energy, but Rob had kicked Mac's arm upward in the nick of time and the ball sailed towards the sky. "DAMN IT!!!" Mac yelled as he watched a certain kill fade away in the distance. Rob now recognized his chance to counter by getting around to Mac's backside and starting a devastating martial arts combo that Mac had no chance of breaking out of, especially when being hit from behind. Ajain could only watch in awe as his partner released his full array of fighting skill on the helpless Mac. Chips of purple and blue metal began to fly into the air, until Rob finished his attack with a leaping kick directly to the back of Mac's head. Mac actually fell forward face first into a dirt hole left from the missile rain earlier. His back had barely any coloured metal left to it and was riddled with dents. Mac wasn't the only one who suffered though, as Ajain could see Rob trying to catch his breath and also rid his hands and legs of the pain of repeatedly striking Mac's metal armour. --- I figure that, if there are people that I haven't talked to in a long while, there's probably a good reason for that. -MacDaddy Mike |

"This ends now." Ajain nodded to Rob and ignited his axe again. Once more, he lifted the flaming axe to try and avenge their leader. The axe cut through the air on its way down, aimed at the small line where Mac's helmet met the rest of his body. Somehow, to everyone's surprise, Mac rolled over onto his back at the final split second to avoid his doom yet again. The force of the axe struck the dirt sending more clods into the air. One just happened to hit an unsuspecting Rob in the eye, blinding him! "If it must be this way, then I will not go alone!" Mac cried out as he kipped up onto his feet perfectly and dove at the stunned Rob. "Initiate emergency sequence seven-two-six-six-nine-one-three-eight." Mac spoke into his suit as he and Rob toppled to the ground. Rob wrestled with Mac blindly as they both locked together on the ground struggling. "Self-Destruct Code accepted." A mechanical voice emitted from within his suit. "NO!" Ajain rushed over to the two of them and attempted to pry Mac off of Rob. He dropped his axe beforehand since he deemed it too dangerous to try and hit only Mac when they were wrestling back and forth. Every light on Mac's body began to blink and beep rapidly, faster and faster with every passing second. "Run, get away!" Rob ordered while still somewhat blinded. Ajain didn't succeed at budging Mac at all and saw the lights were blinking so fast they almost were becoming solid altogether. He released himself and kicked Mac as hard as he could instead, before running away for cover. The force gave Rob enough of a brief strength advantage to detach Mac from himself and he got up to run in the same direction. "NO!" Mac bellowed as loudly as he could, getting back up to his feet and diving at the escaping Rob. Mac extended his arms out as far as he could and got enough of Rob's legs to trip him up and to the ground again. Mac quickly crawled and scurried and latched onto Rob's legs with both of his arms. Mac's entire suit began blinking in unison now and let out three ominous and long beeps. Rob reached his arm out to what he could see of Ajain in dramatic, yet futile, fashion. Ajain watched then covered his eyes from a relatively safe distance as Mac glowed brightly and a blinding explosion followed. --- I figure that, if there are people that I haven't talked to in a long while, there's probably a good reason for that. -MacDaddy Mike |

Again, Ajain could only wait anxiously as all the dust settled before he could open his eyes safely. The seconds seemed like minutes until he could finally look at the destruction. Mac and Rob lay beside one another, still steaming from the blast. Mac himself was almost unrecognizable, since the suit was completely gone and he looked like any other person now. Ajain remembered the rules of the game and took a moment to recall what DC had said about reviving others. He now had a major decision weighing on his mind as he stood on the silent battlefield. . . . "Wowwws, how did he know how to do that? I thought he didn't read the manual." Meeptroid commented from the monitor as they were all glued to the screen. "He must have figured it out on his own somehow, I told you he didn't really have any ladies!" Chapter 8: Royal Engagement Whoosh, whish! went the sharp sound of the katana previously owned by Radicus, cutting through the air and guided by Duel's powerful arm. The swings were so powerful that the clothes Yeti wore as he watched nearby were fluttering about effortlessly with every practice swipe. Yeti just stood there watching as Duel played with his new toy happily and felt the gash on his cheek he received in battling Radicus. Under his finger he could slowly, yet surely feel the cells regenerating themselves. He couldn't see it without a mirror, but it clearly had shrunk from before and he was certain it would be gone soon enough. "How's your hand feel after I LIT IT ON FIRE with my brilliant thinking?" Yeti asked Duel. "Meh, my hand feels fine enough, little hot still but... HEY, that was my idea, you thief!" Duel stopped his practice session and gave Yeti a sullen look. "Don't do that... It's scary." Yeti replied. "Pff, my face is beautifuller than a baby with cancer." Duel scoffed. "... They look no different you... Never mind.. Enough practicing, let's break down this gate and head to that castle." Yeti suggested. "Sounds good." Duel immediately halted his practicing and walked briskly to the gate. He wound up a punch and slammed his fist into the metal gate, making a significant dent in the surrounding bars. "OWW!!! Son of a *****!!" Duel hopped around in pain as the gate still stood despite the dents. "Oh, I think I should probably melt the hinges a bit for you." Yeti pointed out as he walked up to one side of the gate casually. His hands sparked up with fire effortlessly and he shot a constant stream of flame at the hinges as Duel still writhed around holding his hand. "That should do it..." Yeti said after a minute or so. He barely finished his sentence when Duel came charging from behind him and burst through the gates head first and screaming. He didn't stop one bit and continued onto the pathway leading up to the castle, leaving the busted gate and Yeti behind. Yeti assumed to himself that Duel wanted to get his mind off his still throbbing hand. He shrugged it off and began to trail behind his companion. --- I figure that, if there are people that I haven't talked to in a long while, there's probably a good reason for that. -MacDaddy Mike |

Yawn went one of the guards standing in front of the moat leading up to Hyrule Castle. He and his partner stood there with their spears upright and with nothing to do. Until a monstrous scream cut through the air, that is... "Someone approaches!" He announced to his partner. "Spears ready!" The other replied. "ARRAHGHSGSHGHSGH!" went another roar as the guards saw an average looking white male barreling up the pathway towards them with a katana in his hand. "Intruder! Defend the castle!" "He will not get by!" "DIE!!!" Duel shouted and impaled one of the guards before he could think of how to react to this aggressive attacker. Duel lifted his sword above his head and swung it to launch the body of the guard down into the moat. The second guard immediately stabbed Duel's side, but it had little to no damage. Before he could even try to comprehend what just happened, Duel spun to his left and sliced his head off. Duel let out another roar and slapped the headless body into the moat to join his friend. Still in a fit of rage, he picked up the head took a few steps forward, then punted it far off into the fields that Hyrule Castle overlooked. "IT'S GOOOOOODDDDD!!!!" Duel stomped around in front of the castle as Yeti had finally caught up to him. "Geez, calm down. I think your hand is ok now. If I didn't know better, I'd think you were Beefer after a few free expressos." Yeti said and didn't bother to question why there were spots of blood on the ground. "RRAAAA.... Ok, I'm good now..." Duel suddenly returned himself to a calm state and smiled back at Yeti. "Don't make that face either, it's scary too." Yeti said, Duel immediately turned his smile into a frown. "So... how do we get in here? The bridge is up." Duel turned his attention to the task at hand. Yeti didn't speak, but answered by shooting well placed fireballs repeatedly at the side of the bridge. After a few moments of silence, loud snapping sounds could be heard and the bridge fell down with a boom. "I hope you didn't want those chains." Yeti turned to Duel. "I could've strangled a baby 6 times around probably with those, but meh..." Duel shrugged his shoulders and they both proceeded into the castle. --- I figure that, if there are people that I haven't talked to in a long while, there's probably a good reason for that. -MacDaddy Mike |

Together they walked through the stone laden hallways, following a red carpet since they knew nothing about the castle and didn't know where else to go. Duel crept along as quietly as he could and Yeti kept himself alert in case any guards approached. They walked throughout the castle for a good half hour, encountering maybe a few guards along the way occasionally, but they were easily dispatched by the duo. "You know I'm surprised there aren't more people after us, it's not like we're super quiet when we killed any of those guys..." Yeti noted to Duel. "Maybe everyone wants to stay away cause they know you smell." Duel snickered. Yeti responded by playfully stinging Duel in the arm with a spark. Soon after, they continued on the carpet and it led them just one turn away from what they could tell to be an extremely large and important looking chamber. They could see from one angle that a torch was lit at one side of the entrance and a flickering shadow on the ground indicated that the other end was no different. They cautiously walked and turned to enter through the doorless entrance. Straight ahead at the end of the red carpet was a tall and athletic looking man in a red cape standing in front of a throne, talking to a man dressed in a black cape. They couldn't quite hear what the two men were talking about, but the conversation ended in a short time and the black caped man turned around towards them, revealing a scarred face and evil grin. The man began to walk out of the room, past Duel and Yeti, without saying a word. The two of them took notice that he looked heavily equipped and especially noted a large sword under his cape that almost seemed to have a dark purple aura. "Safe journey on your trip back to the desert, Lord Sapphire!" We shall meet again in the near future." The man at the front of the room called out. Sapphire waved an arm and left the room. The supposed King sat back down on his throne and turned his attnetion to Duel and Yeti. "You two, what business do you have here in the court of King Strider?!" . . . "STRIDER?!?" DC had an immensely surprised look on his face to see his former guard having taken over the throne of this world. "That bastard found himself a rather comfy job. I wonder how that happened." DC spoke to his current guardians. "Bah, you don't need him. You got us! And me, Mario! Who was here from the start!" Mario attempted to comfort DC. "Err... Yeah... right...Lovely." "We're here to eat the royal child..." Duel muttered in a low voice. "I beg your pardon?!" Strider exclaimed. "He said, we're here to see that royal smile." Yeti answered. "Oh... Well I'm not in a smiling mood. Get out." Strider replied. Duel and Yeti looked at each other, stuck on what to do next. Their attention was soon drawn to a banner hanging above Strider's throne. Hanging on it was a spectacular golden shield polished from rim to rim that looked as if it were made from a legend. "I'll give you this katana for that shield." Duel offered immediately. "Is that supposed to be funny?! Why would I trade this nearly invincible shield for that junk sword of yours when I have THIS sword?" Strider unsheathed a sword of his own and held it high for them to see. It was a magnificent sword that, although had a standard design to it, had perfect craftsmanship, golden hilt and everything else about it that just seemed to scream out, "You're going to die if you piss this guy off." "Is that like an Excalibur or something?" Yeti asked. "Hahaha... No sadly, but this is close to it. Think of it Excalibur's lesser known brother." Strider admired his reflection in the sword until the room began to shake in intervals. "What's going on?!" Yeti worried "Oh, that must be my champion approaching." Strider explained as they waited for the steps to reach them. A door at the side of the room opened as a beefy powerful looking beast of a man walked in. "I present to you, Sir Beefer." Duel, you need to stop thinking with your stomach. Hmm, just leaving would be lame, and fighting both Strider and Beefer would present a major risk to our health. Although that shield and sword sound pretty sweet… Now that I think about it, searching for the royal child isn’t that bad an idea. This is Hyrule, and no kingdom is complete without a princess. Capturing the princess has always been a goal of villains searching for power (i.e. Ganondorf). If we can kidnap her, then we can use her to control the kingdom. When we hold her life in our hands, we can get anything we want, and use the castle’s resources to win this battle royale. To sum up my thoughts: I agree with Duel, we need to find the royal child (probably the princess) and hold her hostage. If this scene is any indication, she should be near by, in the garden or something. With her under our control, we will become very powerful. And Duel? No killing. We need her alive. --- Genius may have its limitations, but stupidity is not thus handicapped. - Elbert Hubbard |

Chapter 9: Desert Storm "Don't worry, Crow. You're going to be just fine! I just need to find us a place to rest and get you healed up..." Tithenion assured Crow. Tithenion continued onward with Crow's arm slung over his neck and his feet dragging along. Crow's feet were moving in an erratic walking motion, but to Tithenion, it seemed like more of a bodily reflex to support itself more than anything. All he knew was that Crow was still out of it and their progress was slow at best. They traversed along the path heading west and could hear grazing horses neighing a little distance away. Tithenion looked around as they walked and determined it was probably coming from the walled off property they had seen minutes earlier in the field. He had considered seeking shelter there, but didn't see an entrance at first glance and didn't dare staying in the immediate area where that beast, Mac, could still be lurking. Soon they came to a fork in the road where continuing in the direction they were going stayed in the boundaries of the grassy field, while turning off led to an area where the grass was absent and all there was was copper coloured dirt. While trying to decide what would be the better option, Tithenion suddenly heard the sound of a horse galloping not too far away. It didn't take him long to discover that the source was coming from the path they were walking on not too long ago. A dark figure riding a black horse was coming right to them! "Oh ****! Let's get out of here!" Tithenion cried out in Crow's ear. Crow was somewhat coming out of his daze, but was still out of it, so Tithenion hoisted him up on his back and started to run as fast as he could. He quickly turned onto the dirt path, attempting to get out of the horseman's line of sight, but the path soon turned out to be slanted on a hill. With this terrain and having to lug Crow on his back, he was not covering ground very quickly. Amidst the sound of his footsteps stomping on the soft ground and with Crow's body muffling his ears, he could still hear the horse's hooves clomping louder and louder. He didn't dare look back out of fear of even looking at the rider and horse. Soon they came to a stop as the ground ahead disappeared. Tithenion looked closer to find a deep valley with a waterfall flowing gracefully into it from the side. Despite the beautiful scenery, it was not something he could bear looking down at for long. To his left he saw there was a wooden bridge to cross, he started to dart towards it before the rider caught up to them, but it was too late. Tithenion had no time to run and could only brace himself and Crow as the rider closed in on them. Tithenion couldn't bear to look so he cowered down on top of Crow and prepared to be trampled. --- I figure that, if there are people that I haven't talked to in a long while, there's probably a good reason for that. -MacDaddy Mike |

Tithenion didn't know whether to be confused or relieved when he heard the horse's feet stop and then gallop again from a far away distance. He looked up to see that the rider and horse were on the other side of the valley now, still riding away. The horse had jumped the entire valley! Just as Tithenion's heart began to stop racing, the rider glanced back and shot him an evil look and just cackled as the horse turned a corner and out of sight. Tithenion sat there on his knees simply trying to process what had just happened in the last few minutes. He was finally snapped out of it by Crow sitting up and moaning, while holding onto his head. "Oooh, what?" Crow moaned. "Oh right... Let's get you somewhere to rest. I think I see a tent on the other side of the bridge. There might be people there." Tithenion explained. Again supporting Crow, the two of them crossed the bridge slowly and carefully. It creaked and wobbled with every step, making both of them extremely uncomfortable. Soon they were across the bridge and made their way to the tent. It was no ordinary camping tent though, it was more like an outpost. It was covered in white sheets and was the size of a small, but comfortable room. Tithenion slid open the entrance sheet open and peered inside. "HEY! What the hell are you doing in here?!" A medium figured, strong looking man screamed from inside. "M.. My friend here has been injured and needs to rest. Can you help?" Tithenion gathered himself and answered. "Maybe, bring him inside and we can talk." The man walked over and together they lay Crow down on a cot. "I am Tithenion and he is Crow." "I'm PDL, but you can call me Jeaton if you want. I'm a carpenter." PDL introduced himself. "Thank you for the shelter." Tith said. "Hey, don't thank me yet. This isn't free boarding here." "All right, what is it you want? We don't have any money." Tith asked. "No no, I don't need money from ya. I want your skills. You guys look like you know how to fight. It just so happens tonight I'm going on a rescue mission and I could use your help." PDL started his proposal. "Who needs the rescuing?" Tith inquired. "Not too far from here, there are a gang of ladies called Gerudos and they're holding my carpenter friends prisoner for God only knows why. I was going to try and bust them out tomorrow." "Sounds... kinda difficult for one man." Tithenion analyzed. "Well, the ladies themselves aren't too bad. I know how to handle them. *wink wink* Trouble is, their leader is a man by the name of Sapphire. He is one bad mutha." "The rider!" Tithenion exclaimed. "Yes, he rides the black horse through this valley. You guys can help me take him down if he causes trouble." "Can we actually do it together?" Tithenion's memory flashed what had just happened with his near encounter. "I don't know for sure, but you guys are coming with me or you're sleeping with the wolves outside." Jeaton pressed his offer. "We'll do it." Crow broke his silence and sat up from his cot. "Are you able?" Tithenion asked with a distinct concerned tone. "Give me a few hours here to rest... then they won't know what hit them." Crow let a grin peek out as he lit his hand on fire for dramatic effect. "Sounds like a deal to me!" PDL clapped his hands together in excitement. --- I figure that, if there are people that I haven't talked to in a long while, there's probably a good reason for that. -MacDaddy Mike |

A couple hours pass... "Ok, let's just get your friends out of their prison, then Crow and I will depart and go about our business." Tithenion planned things out as he readied himself for the infiltration. "I'm all set." Crow assured the other two. "Aye, let's get a moving then. Thank you both for your co-operation." PDL said. "Time's wasting." Tith responded. "Bleh." Crow threw in. One hour later... "Go go go!! Let's get out of here!!!" Jeaton commanded Tith and Crow as the last of his carpenter friends had been released from their cells. The Gerudo women were hot on their trail and gaining fast. The three heroes and their group of rescuees raced out of the fortress and a pack of women followed, all holding scimitars. "Jeaton, take your men away and we shall hold off these pursuers." Tithenion shouted to PDL. "We are?" Crow gave Tith a puzzled look as they both stopped while the carpenters pressed forward. "Sure, just loan me your dagger just in case I need it." Tithenion extended his hand and Crow obliged, still with a blank look on his face as he drew out his spear. The Gerudo women were athletic and good fighters, but Tith and Crow were much more agile and skilled. Tithenion didn't even use his dagger and was able to disarm every woman that came at him and used his martial arts expertise to knock them out without hurting them badly. Crow simply used his spear and some fast moves to knock away every attacker. On the odd time, one would get in close and take swings at him. One of them actually hit a few of the places where he had visible burns from earlier and Crow was forced to impale them in a fit of rage when the burns were struck. The scrapes managed to barely even break his hardened skin, but they still stung enough to rile him up. One woman paid for hitting him the hard way as Crow slid his hand under her outfit and burned her in the chest before stabbing the poor woman. Tithenion didn't really approve, but was too busy to object. "Ok, I think that is the last of them." Tithenion announced to Crow once they were all unconscious or dead. "How are those carpenter men faring?" Crow asked as they both turned around to find that everyone they had rescued was lying dead on the ground in front of the bridge, while PDL was staring down Sapphire. "NOOOO!" Tithenion screamed as he rushed over to aid PDL. "Boy, this was a real bust..." Crow muttered under his breath. He stopped to feel up one of the women Tithenion knocked out, then followed his partner. --- I figure that, if there are people that I haven't talked to in a long while, there's probably a good reason for that. -MacDaddy Mike |

"You all dare to attack my base, my women and steal our prisoners?! You will never cross this bridge!" Sapphire was fueling with rage. "Those were my men and you just slaughtered them!" PDL answered. "I never figured you the type to swing that way, but oh well. You and your friends shall join them soon enough." Sapphire commented. "Hey, we don't technically have to help him right? We kept our end of the deal and broke his friends out. Let's get the hell out of here." Crow proposed to Tithenion. He was too late though, since Tithenion was already running off again to help PDL and attack Sapphire. Under the moonlight, the three of them battled on, while Crow just stood a distance away supporting the two of them with fireballs. Sapphire was a man that towered over all three of them, so his size and strength were tough to combat. They were able to hit Sapphire, but nothing seemed to really phase him. When Sapphire hit them, on the other hand, it felt like a speeding truck hit them in the face. Jeaton even tried to lock with Sapphire and overpower him, but was turned away. Crow's fireballs were having little to no effect, so he finally took the plunge and decided to enter the battle with spear in hand. Tithenion remembered the dagger he borrowed and brought that out as well. They attempted a double strike on Sapphire, but he pulled out a huge sword from under his cape and deflected both of their attacks. He raised his sword high above his head and it lit the immediate area with a dark purple glow. Sapphire thrust it downward into the ground, sending an immediate shockwave all around him with such force, that it knocked all three of them to the ground and out cold. Soon after, one by one they came to and were kneeling over the valley below. They were surrounded by the Gerudo women and Sapphire himself with sword in hand. "Now it is time for you to suffer and perish." Sapphire said ominously. The three of them weren't restrained at all, but making an attack in this situation would be certain death anyway. "You first." Sapphire stared at Jeaton. He raised his sword high... "NO!" PDL screamed as his head was lopped off and dropped down to the rapid waters below. His body remained eerily still and upright, minus the head. "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Crow whispered to Tithenion. "Yeah.. I don't like it, but we have to..." Tithenion answered. "You two are next..." Sapphire announced and prepared to stab Tithenion. "NOW!" Tithenion screamed. "See ya." Crow added as they both spun around and leaped off the edge. The two of them had great acrobatic skills and dove gracefully downward, doing all they can to try and not hit any of the ledges surrounding the river. They both hit the water and tried to look around for one another as they rapids began to take them away... --- I figure that, if there are people that I haven't talked to in a long while, there's probably a good reason for that. -MacDaddy Mike |

Freaking awesome! I popped the Gerudo Valley theme up on Brawl when I saw that's where this chapter was; made it even more epic. Delays are forgiven when quality work is the result, hehe. --- The more things change, the more they stay the same... MLH - I will never stop loving you. [aX] |
